Amy, I am curious, how do you handle your number. For instance: I am
descended from Richard Carleton. Lets say for argument, that my number
is:C1264A322 Well, my husband is also descended from Richard Carleton, and
lets say that his number is C23732763. Now my son is C1264A3221 under my
line, and C237327631 under my husband's line. And that is only one of his
ancestors. How do you handle your number under every line? It would seem to
me that each of my children could have an infinite number of Reference
numbers based on the number of ancestors I find for them. Unless you are
doing a single surname study and are lucky enough to only be descended from
that person one way, you aren't going to be able to do this for long.
