Hi Bob,

If it were a matter of talking me out of something, it would be my
opinion. The message below was not someone's opinion and was not
written because someone knowingly used the features in an improper
manner. TMG made it extremely easy to produce a flawed report. If
Dennis were the one and only, then I might not have the opinion you
don't want to talk about but I would bet that it has happened to
hundreds of users. Maybe it is because we are all too dumb to use
the program as designed but I prefer to consider it a TMG flaw.

Hi,

I printed a Descendants Journal Narrative report for my and my
cousin's
ancestor. In generation five, my cousin Doug and his wife are shown
as
having children when the children are set up with step-son and
daughter tags
under Doug (they are not Doug's biological kids).
Why are these step kids listed as descendants of our ancestor when
there is
no blood relationship?
Does TMG not distinguish between children and step-children?
Do I just need to manually exclude these step kids from printing if
I want
to have step-child tags under Doug?

Thanks for any help here.
