Is there anybody that has had problems with IE and McAfee Virus Scan? If so, I would be interested if you have found a solution. I have IE vs 6 and McAfee vs 4.1.40 and I regularly download the new DAT files.

I have to turn off the virus scan when I am on the web or I will get a blue screen with the following message:

"A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:C162AF43 in VXD MCSCAN32(01) + 000278A3. The current application will be terminated."

Sometimes I am just booted out of IE and other times I have to push restart.

I have talked to someone that has an upgrade to McAfee and they still have the same problem that I am having.
