If the duplication remains after selecting File=>Maintenance=>Optimize then
there probably ARE leading or trailing spaces. Select Tools=>Advanced
Utilities=>Strip Trailing Spaces to eliminate them. Then re-select
File=>Maintenance=>Optimize.
