This has been raised before in now-moldy e-mail exchanges. I strongly
second this suggestion. *Please* throw us this bone, WhollyGenes!
LDS researchers want to be able to mark all LDS ordinance tags
primary, so they can hide all the other witness tags, etc. on the
individual view, yet retain basic BMDB events *plus* the LDS ordinance
events of baptism, sealing to parents, endowment, and sealing to
spouse. We cannot do it now.
The only legitimate LDS tag that needs changing is the SealSpouse tag,
which now is in the marriage group.
(The SealParent tag with the bogus SLGP gedcom code also is
incorrectly placed in the birth group and should be changed--or
better, totally eliminated. However, the SealChild tag represents the
same event, has the proper code and is already in the Other group.)
