Instead of using 'TAB', I have been highlighting the text, using Display____
Indent_____ Font Italics. Is this the problem that using display, indent,
does not transfer to the Word document?

I don't know why you aren't getting indentions and italics if you have
entered the proper coding in the Memo field. I just tried the Tab and
Italics codes and they both work fine for me.
One thing about the Tab character is, if you are using it at the beginning
of a sentence/paragraph and want the sentence/paragraph indented, to be
sure that the sentence does start a new paragraph on a new line. If not,
you may get the indent and not realize it (thinking it may just be extra
spacing between sentences. So you may want a Carriage Return code first
followed by the Tab code.
As for the italics code, remember that it is a double code. It is easiest
to insert the italics code in the proper place and then enter the text to
be italicized between the first "[ITAL:]" and last ":][:ITAL]"parts of the
code.
Hope this helps -
