that was a very nice feature in UFT/Roots
its a major drawback in TMG...and presents great difficulties on occasion,
especially in medieval times with no surnames... I used to be able to just
put in the search field, "conqueror" and I could find William the Conqueror
in a couple seconds.... not so here. So if I want to fine "Eleanor of
Aquitaine"....I either look for her husband, or have to scroll through 600
Eleanor's to find her. Not a very elegant search program. "Search
for"....only gets you one.. still looking for a better way to find names in
a 30,000 name database.
Anyone with a good fix for this?
