Theresa,

I bought Animap years ago when it was on 3 1/2s and I wouldn't be w/o it.
It's the only CD I take with my laptop when I travel. Second to TMG its the
best money I ever spent.

I don't find it clunky but I've been using it so long that it might be that
each new upgrade is better and I don't notice. The lastest version was
released in Sept.

The CD comes with Sitefinder and Animap. Sitefinder lets you search for a
city and gives you the name, county, lat, long if you click on the name it
will let you plot it in Animap. In the Animap state map you can choose a date
and find what county it was on that date. You can print the map and use them
in your reports. (I think the docs ask you to give Animap credit)

In Animap you can use the dates to run though how the counties changed.

The author of the program is very nice and if you have a problem you email
him. His answers are very prompt.

Patt
P.S. I don't get a commission <g>
