Hats off to Paul Lawrence addressing a problem that many of us have been
trying to solve in developing consistent and reliable report formats.
Coupled with the constant crashes of TMG, it makes one wonder why we
continue to strive to develop a staying attitude while we anxiously await a
vital and necessary upgrade.
Recently, I had occasion to download Legacy 3.0. Then, using TMG I
exported a very small family through gedcom into Legacy. I then proceeded
to print a very fine report without reading the instructions. Legacy cover
sheet, table of contents, family information, source citations and an index.
Don't get me wrong...I love TMG but how long must we suffer? I use state of
the art computer hardware and generally state of the art software and I
certainly would like to do so in documenting my various families. In an hour
of working with TMG, it "normally" crashes every 3-4 minutes. At this rate, I
may be dead and gone before TMG is upgraded.
