Hi Cheryl,

I thought one reason that it has 'taken so long' for a 32 bit TMG is
that FoxPro had to be 32 bit first. If Outlook has a conflict with 16
bit programs and FoxPro is now 32 bit, that problem should be fixed
with TMG5.

I do have programs besides TMG4 that are 16 bit and I occasionally
have problems with them just as I occasionally have a problem with
TMG4. Since I do not use Outlook, Outlook is not the cause by itself
and neither is TMG4. I suspect that a third 'child' is instigating the
'fight' but TMG and Outlook get caught. I also suspect the the
instigator lives in the operating system. Judging from messages, when
the OS is changed, one problem may disappear but be replaced with
another but not always the same on all computers.

I thought XP might cure these problems and mentioned to a computer
engineer how much better XP seemed to be compared to ME. He responded
that he would not allow either on any of his computers and recommended
2000 Pro as the best Microsoft OS. Just in the last few days I saw a
message where a 2000 Pro user was having trouble. I guess I will stay
with W98 and the devil I know.
