Are you trying to scan from within TMG running under Windows 9x or
later? TMG v4x is a 16-bit program and expect to connect to a 16-bit
TWAIN module. However, the standard Windows 9x TWAIN module is a 32-bit
one. There is a way to fix this situation, but then your scanner could
only be used by TMG.
Until TMG v5 is released (soon), it is best to do your scanning outside of
TMG. Then go to the Exhibit Log and Add the Exhibit either as an Internal
Image Import button, or as External Image use the File Name button to
locate the file.
