Hi Carol,

This has nothing to do with the problems you are experiencing. I think
that they are related to your operating system.

I just thought I would mention that a 600 ppi scan is good but for
viewing on screen, it is overkill. 3x4 at 600 = 1800x2400 pixels and
is more than full screen. I generally make a copy with less resolution
for computer viewing.
