As other have said Evidence is very specific. I agree that a generic
source is much easier to use in TMG. I make my generic source for the
town, county or state or even country (England and Scotland) that has
the records you are using. In MA the VRs are handled ny the town so
most of my sources are for the town. The Commonwealth after 1850 does
keep records and if the record comes from the state then that is the
source. I do not rmember how CT handles them but is a record came from
the town then use that and from the state use tht.
