<<<Readers shouldn't take a 128 MB limit as a general Windows 98 SE
restriction. I believe that Windows 98 SE can make use of 4 GB if the
hardware supports it. It's usually a hardware constraint (motherboard
specification) that kicks in at a lower level, so Walt needs to check
the details for his Dell Inspiron 7500. A common complication is how
much RAM the hardware cache supports.>>>>>

Question:

I have Windows 98, added another 128 ram and it did improve the performance
of my computer. What is the "SE" after Windows 98 mean? Would that be
different from plain Windows 98?

Thanks!
Carol
