Hi Buck,

My current favourite use is to filter down my FTST dataset to number of
marriages > 0, died in NZ, and has two of my custom flags set, ie posted to
Rootsweb, marriage not yet checked. I'm then holding FTST open at the
filtered picklist, and working my way thru them in TMG checking off marriage
details against fiche indexes I currently have home for the weekend.

Next favourite and most used feature is to filter picklist by any event at
place X to spot connections I might otherwise miss.

You can probably gather by now that I just love the quick filtering of the
picklist (but do miss the brackets and more powerful conditional logic from
TMG queries, restricting queries to all of, or any of conditions is testing
my ability to paraphrase what I'm looking for to fit, when I'm used to sql,
brackets, and/ors etc.).

This is with a 30,000 people dataset which I'm afraid takes forever to
refresh, but I'm trying to avoid upgrading from Win98 and doing anything
drastic to my pc to overcome that - just learning patience instead.

The charts look great, but I'm too busy playing with data to print them out.

And ps, there's a dedicated mail group for FTST:

Subject: [TMG] Family Tree Super Tools

Hello Everyone:

I have Family Tree Super Tools, and TMG v. 4d. I have imported the data
into FTST...can everyone tell me what some of the finest uses they have
found for FTST (such as analyzing the data). I have just the one data set
(48,000+)

Thank you!
Buck
