Subject: [TMG] DATE FORMAT
Date: Tue, 2 Apr 2002 01:16:04 +1000

About a year ago, I asked whether it was possible to format dates as d Mmm yyyy (1 Apr 2002) or d/m/yyyy (1/4/2002) to omit the leading zeros in day and month. These options are not listed in the TMG System Configuration screen. As I said then "Given that the insertion of leading zeros in dates is a creature of the computer age (ie, people wrote 1/4/2002, not 01/04/2002, before typewriters and computers arrived), I am surprised that options without the leading zero are not standard in TMG.

The answer seemed to be that it was not possible to do it in TMG (it could be done by a Find and Replace in a report exported to a Word Processor, but that is not a very satisfactory solution for me).

Has this option been included in the more recent versions, or is it planned for version 5, or has anyone developed a workaround?
