Welcome to TMG. IMHO, you made an excellent choice. This program is way
superior to FTM, although its a lot easier to make some of those box charts
in FTM than it is in TMG v.4.
BTW, Roles were introduced in v.4.0a. Take advantage of them! Especially
in censuses.
You need to create custom tags for property transactions. I have Deed-Sell,
Deed-Buy, Property, and a few others. I still haven't worked out the
*right* way to enter all that data, and its been 17 months since I left FTM.
If you don't already have it, get a copy of EVIDENCE! by Elizabeth Shown
Mills. It will be helpful.
And most importantly, visit Lee Hoffman's web-site www.tmgtips.com --it has
many and varied tips, articles, etc. on how to do almost anything in TMG.
Visit the linked pages. It has almost everything in relation to TMG there.
