The way I do it is to put the cause of death in the Memo of the Death tag. I
had tried using a custom tag called DeathCause, but found that awkward. My
Death tag sentence (which may be the standard sentence) is:
[P] died <[D]> <[L]> <[A],> <[M]>
As an example, the Memo of my grandfather's Death tag contains "due to
non-malignant brain tumor; C. E. Greason, M.D., attending physician".
The Sentence reads:
He died on 8 Jan 1920 in Woodinville, King County, Washington, at age 78, due
to non-malignant brain tumor; C. E. Greason, M.D., attending physician.

Other health information can go in the standard Illness tag.

Be sure to check out Lee Hoffman's TMG tips as well as many other helpful
websites, for more ideas on entering data. Another good information source
is the archives of this list.
