I THINK that the RIN comes from PAF. It's been a LONG time since I used PAF,
but I seem to remember RIN and MRIN and record identification number and
marriage record identification number. These are kind of like TMG reference
numbers, one for individuals and one for marriages.

I've also heard of a place 'Nauvoo' but can't remember anything else about
it.

To those LDS folks on the list--

In reviewing my files, someone sent me a packet of info on on one of my
earlier Mormon ancestors. The first page says Individual Data and has a RIN
(?) number on it. There is a place for ordinances, marriages, and notes.
There are maps of Nauvoo and then a lot of "family reference" material
including the names of children, their birth places, etc. with lots of
references to Temple Index Bureau and Index to the Mormon Pioneer Genealogy
Library and various Endowment Registers. There are pictures of the
tombstone on a sheet called Inventory of Markers and Graves, Etc. Old Nauvoo
Burial Ground. Does any of this sound like something you are familiar with?

I do not know exactly what this is. Can anyone shed any light on the
subject? Also I need help in citing back to this material.

Thanks.
