Hello Kirk,

THANK YOU !! Thank you for one of the most important messages I have ever
received on this board. I have received several viruses and worms. McAfee
VirusScan warned me each time, but not before the virus started to download.
I was fortunate to be able to delete them before the downloading progressed
too far, and I was not infected. I now know, based upon your message, that
these events would not have happened if I had known to turn off Outlook
Express' preview feature. I didn't know it could be turned off. I shall do
that from now on.

What do you mean by ". . . the ability to display html or web pages in the
body. This feature is turned on by default and you can tell if it is on if
you see messages with web page features." ? What are html or web page
features, and how can I recognize them? Can you be more specific?

Theresa
