In Outlook 2002 (which should be fairly similar to 2000) the path is
Tools > Options > Mail Format (click on the tab). The first item in the
box allows you to specify HTML or Plain Text format.
In 2002 there is also a Security Tab that allows you to tell the program
whether or not to run scripts or active content in HTML messages that
you receive. I have it set to run nothing, so I'm in no danger (knock
wood).

I'm unfamiliar with OE, but Outlook 2000 has no such option that I have
been
able to find; if you know where it is, I would appreciate it if you'd
tell
me. I have considered switching to Eudora, but there is apparently an
incompatibility between Eudora 5 and NAV 2000/2001 email protection. I'm
using NAV 2002, and can only assume that the same incompatibility exists
with this version too. I'm not sure which email program to try.
Whatever I
choose, it has to be compatible with both NAV 2002 and The latest
ZoneAlarm
Pro release. For now, I'm sticking with the "devil I know".
