Hi Gene,
what's so shocking about it? People read the description of TMGv5 on the
web site, learnt about it's currently lacks the ability to produce reports,
then decided that TMGv5 (without reports) meets their current needs. They're
prepared to wait until the reports become available.

What I find more shocking is that people purchase lesser programs (say FTW)
and are convinced that they've purchased a 'full genealogy program' just
because it prints a few simple reports. They don't seem to care about it's
limitations in recording contradictory details/sources etc etc.

I also find it amazing that people download TMG without reports, then
immediately start complaining that it lacks reports. What part of the
sentence '..without reports' don't they understand ??

Bill

What shocks me is that so many people actually bought a genealogy software
package that cannot produce reports.
