Rae Jean,
I agree wholeheartedly with you about these web sites. What I do is try to
contact the person whose web site it is first. Then if I don't get an answer
and IF I feel the info might have some validity I will enter the info with a
0 surety. I use a misc citation I have titled Web Site and put the rest of
the info in citation memo. I file my email message with whatever info I
copied from the website and make comments on my printouts.
I know this is not the idea situation as the resulting citation is rather
bleak. Perhaps the addition of a comment added to the bibliography indicating
at this was web information that could not be verified would be better.
