I have to admit - while there has been interesting discussion around which
parts of the country are more dependent on township records, I am still
curious as to how many of you who depend on the township records record

I would be able to drop Temple to make room. Comments on the pros and cons
of these two mothods?

Also I have not been consistant in my place entry as to abbriviations and am
planning on cleaning up there. Any comments on the virtues of

Smith Twp., Posey Co., IN

as compared to

Smith Township, Posey County, Indiana

The firt takes less room - the second reads better. WHo uses what and why?
