I'm no authority on this, but I can hazard a guess. Someone gained
admittance to the DAR based on the incorrect information. To correct
the information might result in their "decertification". That someone
might not take kindly to being decertified, and might even be a
"heavy-hitter" in the DAR. I can kind of understand why the DAR might
not want to open that can of worms.
