My own reason for putting limited amounts of data on the Internet is to
enable other researchers who share my interests to contact me. Many of them
do & I then send them fully sourced data. I see the process as analogous to
posting to a bulletin board or mailing list, not publishing a genealogical
work.
I am afraid that, as a poor uncivilised Brit, I have never heard of the BCG.
Will they send the heavies round to trash my research files if I do not
comply with their standards <g>?
