Genealogical information published in hard copy for the same purpose - that
is to establish contact with other researchers -is not sourced. Take a look
at the Members' Interests pages of any Family History Society journal
published in the UK or the potted family histories published for the same
purpose in the various British Family History magazines.

What the Internet enables us to do is to publish all our "Members'
Interests" in one place - but the principle is no different.
