Lori,
Please don't be put off by some of the listers who may come across harsher
than they may intend. I am with Teresa. Not only did I learn some things I
didn't know, but I am again aware of the difficulty in deciphering early
handwriting. Your question was neither inappropriate nor frivolous. There
are many aspects of genealogical research.. and we all need all the help we
can get. (and my delete key works fine, too. In fact, I sort my messages
by topic and can easily breeze through all the topics that are not of
interest with that handy little key)
