Hmm! I don't think that prompt has been part of the program for a couple
of upgrades.
Administrative files are those that do not contain your data or can be
re-created from the main data files of the data set (v4) or project
(v5). This is usually the index files that helps speed the operation of
TMG and various work files. When you reduce the size of administrative
files, you just delete them and they are then re-created as needed. The
purpose of deleting these administrative files is to allow the user to have
more free space on the hard drive. This was at a time (primarily back in
DOS days) when hard drives were much smaller and available space there was
at a premium. Not that most systems have many gigabytes of storage there
is not much need to conserve free space.
