Since this message I haven't seen mention of another OS conversion glitch,
which exists in both 4.0d and 5.03.
Some compendia of early European lines, such as the Weis/Sheppard "Ancestral
Roots" volumes, contain a few OS dates before 1000 AD which should be
recordable as found.
To handle them, I've set the start of OS dating to 0800. When I key in 1
Feb 993/4, I 'm told that the date is irregular and get 1 Feb 0993/4. If I
key in Feb 993/4, I see no irregular warning and get Feb 993./994. as the
result. An input date of 993/4 produces 993./994. without any warning.
