If you are using TMG v4, version 3.8 of my TMG Utility program can be used to
change people's names. (See Find and Replace.) I don't recommend doing that,
however, except under very specific circumstances. The utility has the ability
to add a name tag to a set of people who currently have a particular surname.
The idea there is to allow searching by a surname with standardized spelling,
but retain the named spelled as found in the original source(s). (See "Add
Standard Name".)
If you are using TMG v5, version 5.0 of my TMG Utility 5 program does not yet
have the name-related features. I expect to start working on them fairly soon,
but I don't want top promise anything.
