Tom, while it is not on any website I have set up a series of custom tags and
sentences which allow me to show the relationships of people based on the
autorelated feature.
I have four main lines that I trace so for each person I have four reference
tags which read:
[P], a xxxx [xxx=relationship shown in relation right under the person in the
person view], was (birth order #) of ( # of total children born to the
couple) born to [FATH] and [MOTH]
It prints out as:
John Doe, a ninth great-grandson of Henry William Doe, was the fifth of
twelve children born to George Doe and Mary Ann Sellings.
or depending on which reference tag I choose it could print:
John Doe, an eighth great-grandson of Thomas Williams , was the fifth of
twelve children born to George Doe and Mary Ann Sellings.
By choosing which tag to print I can show and individuals relationship to any
one of four primary line ancestors.
My wishlist item is that since the following are already computed and stored
somewhere in TMG ( since they show on the person view) that there was some
way to get them assigned as variables so we could actually use them in
sentences instead of having to hand code them in so we couls have a sentence
structure like:
[P], [REL], the [BO#] of [#TC] born to [FATH] and {MOTH] was born [D], [L].
I'm even willing to wait until TMG 6.5! <G>
