Hi,
I've been off this Mailing List for a while so I apologize if this has been answered already. I'm now attempting to scan documents and add photos as Exhibits which I've got saved in my C:\My Pictures folder I searched the Archives and found the following question and answer:
> b) Is there a way that the exhibits can be filed by family in separate
> folders within an Exhibit folder. I note that (v5) the path under file>

I have a folder D:\My Pictures. Under that I have five or six levels
of subfolders. As I add images to Exhibit Log, the full path is
recorded by TMG.

I'm confused. Is it better to save all these External .jpg files under \My Pictures where I already have many subfolders for separating each of my ancestral families or should I keep documents in TMG5's "pics" folder?
What's the benefit of the "pics" folder in TMG5?
Would saving to 2 different external locations make it more time-consuming to keep changing the path when saving?
Is there a step-by-step to follow?
Still getting used to TMG5,
Mary Jo
