Again, here I am, late into a conversation. I do not think the
printer is nearly as important as the ink -- I heard that HP and Epson were
'the only' two companies that had archival ink. Now this was a couple of
years ago, things may have changed -- and I did not follow it up to
verify. Though, my source (a local archival scrapbook retailer -- which
does not sell printers) would have no reason to create that information.
But, bottom line, if I was to the point of creating my final book,
photos etc. I would certainly contact HP, (as I have an HP printer) then
Epson and any others if needed to find the one that provided archival ink.
