I am using WinXP Pro with 320 MB of memory. Now running 5.04

I find it nearly impossible to use the Accent feature because it slows
TMG down to the point of extreme annoyance.

Project Explorer shows I have 52,000+ names. If I accent "Is an
ancestor of" myself, which includes approximately 7,000 individuals. It
then takes 15 - 20 seconds for any screen change to occur in TMG:
Opening a tax window, opening the picklist, moving to another
individual by clicking on that individual, etc.

My total project consists of the ancestors of three primary individuals
and using Accent on either of the other two results in the same extreme
deterioration of performance.

I noticed an improvement in speed on everything else when I upgraded
from Win98SE to WinXP Pro, but the Accent feature is basically
impossible for me to use.

The only other objectionable speed problem that I encounter frequently
is the time it takes for the Project Explorer to update itself if it is
open and I am using a filter when I make a change to an individual or
add an individual (2-3 seconds). Since I do this several hundred times
at one sitting, the accumulated slow down in a major annoyance. Having
a filter turned on seems to be the operative point here.
