Helen - My only other guess would be how you have your Options set. I have
mine set for Advanced Data Entry and I have this field displayed at the Tag
Entry Screen. It could very well be that in the Beginner mode that you
don't have this option. You may want to check that setting. It can be
found under File>Preferences>Options>Program Options>Data Entry. Change
that to Advanced and make sure that place and name labels are enabled.

Hi Cheri -

Now I know it is not me. There is absolutely nothing under the three small
icons you mentioned, nor is there anything to the right of the Principal. I
am using version 5.4...upgraded from previous version. Do you or anyone else
think I have a bug in the program...or is there possibly some advanced
button I have to turn on to see this.

Thanks to you and anyone else that is helping! I really am learning from
these discussions.... today I am researching the archives to decide the
choice to use clooz and how to make a semblance of order with my filing
system!!!! :)
