I haven't been following this, and I've already deleted the previous messages, but there IS a way to renumber #1 to a higher number and have all the other numbers fall in line in the same order as they are now. That is, for example, you can make #1 = 1001, then 2 will be 1002 and so on, leaving the first thousand numbers available. It effectively adds 1000 (or any other value) to each ID#, even if there are gaps. If this is what you wanted to do, let me know ...
