Thanks to all who offered suggestions on this problem. I gave an
abbreviated description of the situation. I have a new computer with
WinXP, and only one CD drive. I have never had FTM, only an earlier
viewer downloaded several years ago. All they offer on their website for
the viewers are for Win 3 & Win 95/98. I downloaded the Win 98 version,
but it wouldn't open. So I wrote the customer service an email. The
email I received in return gave me the customer service phone number and
said when I called them, they would send me a CD copy of the viewer at
no charge. When I called I was told there was no viewer that would work
with XP. I called again later and the tech I got that time said the
said thing, except he said FTM V9 or V10 would work, none earlier. So I
replied to my customer service email and am awaiting the response there.
