I save the original scan as a tif file, make a jpg copy, save the tif file to
CD and keep the jpg on the hard drive for use with TMG, etc. One of my
graphic programs allows resizing of pictures, so I adjust the jpg size to fit
my needs, keeping the tif copy as scanned (or as edited).
