I agree. Problem is when you import data you will find that most people
don't specify "After" a certain precise date, but just 1943 or Aug 1943. I
change that data when I find it. That sort of thing is easily cleaned up
with a utility such as John Cardinal's, so I don't think the logic to handle
that should be in the program, since it would slow it down considerably
making all those sorting decisions.

If you know an exact death date, then why would you be less precise about
the earliest possible date on which he could have been buried? _That_ is
the only time when sorting becomes debatable. That is my point.

(Setting aside the joke that he was buried on 8 Sep 1942 and died very
shortly thereafter <g>).
