Kathy, I'm no computer expert but when I recently had an error message that ended in .dll, I was told that the program was missing a "library" file. I had to re-install the software program and it's been running fine ever since. Maybe this is worth a try.

Subject: [TMG] OT: AniMap
Is anyone else out there having problems running AniMap 2.5 under
WinXP? This is a brand new, one day old Gateway running at 2.533
speed. (It goes so fast it opens things just when I **think**
about the file!) I installed and copied the folders into the
Animap directory so I could use the program without running the
CD. But when I click on any state in AniMap to open it, I get a
message that "MAPL3Bxx.dll" cannot be found (xx being the state
abbr.). Then when I click ok the map opens but isn't complete --
only half there -- sometimes. If I go to another state, I'll get
that map (with the same message) and it will be all there and
when I go back to the first state, it's there in total too. Go
figure. Am also having trouble accessing the program's Help
screen but found I could get at it thru SiteFind. I've
uninstalled and re-installed a bunch of times to make sure I'm
getting everything. I did a directory file compare on the old and
new PCs and they are both identical.
On a bright note, I got TMG4.d all installed complete with the
missing dll, and backups of my data and config files. Took me
forever to figure it all out, but at least it's running. Now I
gotta install v5 . . .
