Good morning happy campers! and yes I am on the right list. The imminent
release of 5.05 reminds me of the sales when some eager souls camp out all
night waiting for THAT bargain.
Just to add grief to sorrow, today is March 1st it's brilliantly sunny,
useless weather for sailing, no wind, and temp creeping up to the low teens
and here in the outskirts of Utrecht my garden is currently playing host to
daffodils, snowdrops(!!?), daisies(and if I had a digital camera I'd prove
it to you), a white rose and oh yes, the chicken industry here has just
been declared a disaster zone as they have the equivalent of foot & mouth.
But I suppose this is what you get after 3 weeks continuous sun - by the
way, the highest recorded number of hours of February sun, 158, since 1901.
And should you not know what the hell I'm talking about, do not be alarmed
- you will see the light shortly!!!!!!

the arch of the Tyne Bridge rising up out of it.
I have yet to spot a lamb but it's just a metter of time.

Lucky you, to live in beautiful Guernsey. Here in Southsea we have a very
mild climate for England - being protected by the cliff of Portsdown Hill to
the north and the Isle of Wight to the south. My lemon trees stay outside
all year round and I had fuschias blooming in the garden well into January,
until the really cold weather began to bite. But nothing compared to the
Channel Islands. I see Condor are offering a return ferry fare from
Portsmouth to Guernsey of £62 - looks tempting, providing the sea is calm -
I am not the best of sailors.

Hi:
You folks are making me homesick for a place I have never been within 3,000
miles (5,000 kilometers) of.
