And that doesn't even take into account "Unfinished Tales", or the
development of the stories (with abandoned genealogies among other things)
that appear in Christopher Tolkien's 12-volumes detailing the history of
his father's writing.
So what would you do with Trotter, the woods-wise Hobbit wearing wooden
shoes who later became: Aragorn son of Arathorn, King Elessar Telcontar,
Strider, the Elfstone, The Dunadan? Talk about your Name-Var tags....
