The sun went in before we left and it was a bit dull and windy but beautiful
nevertheless. Came back by the coast road which goes past Dunstanburgh
Castle, a ruin, Howick where they recently discovered the largest Mesolithic
house, and Warkworth Castle, a typical Motte and Bailey castle (and no
that's not the people who built it)
Saw a curlew and a herd of oystercatchers. Loads of snowdrops and sheep but
no lambs.
