When I was in England several years ago with my daughter's high school band,
we visited Scotland on our bus. The driver told a story about when we
crossed the border we had to switch from the left to the right lane on the
border. He also said that there were many accidents there due to the lax
traffic controls.

This of course was just something to amuse the kids and we did not change
lanes after all.
