Subject: [TMG] use of "hereinafter" in source templates
Date: Sun, 9 Mar 2003 16:25:27 -0500
Hello List,
I was about to post my (finally completed) all-purpose book source template when I noticed that TMG's default templates almost always use "hereinafter [short title]" in the Full Footnote. But Mills hardly ever does this.
Could someone comment on why, and what might make sense in practice? Seems the phrase "hereinafter . . . " is really only warranted when the short form of the title is very different than the full title. Are there any standard practices?
James
