To me jumping on TMG 5.0x for the first time it is not a program to average Genealogy people. Maybe that's my problem--I never used anything else. When I decided to start researching my family again after about 20+ years, I went online and did a search for comparisons of available genealogy programs and that's how I ended up with TMG. It looked like it had the best capabilities and the potential for everything imaginable was there so I bought it. I am learning how to use it slowly but surely--maybe after a year or two (or more), I'll feel really comfortable with it. For now, you can expect more questions from a "newbie".

Hi all.
I am also a newbie to TMG. I used the FTM before.
First of all what I read about TMG and see how it work I will never change
back!
But as seen several times lately the help in TMG is VERY DIFFICULT to
understand and get the answers you look for.
