How come no one mentioned the risk of a virus? Don't today's e-mail
viruses try to spread to other systems on the LAN, potentially
messing up the remote HD? Or are we so sure of our anti-virus
practices we don't worry about that? <g>

I've thought about it a bit with my system of using a second HD in my
main computer for daily backups. But I worry more about a lightning
strike getting though my UPS and taking out both HDs. But still, I
figure it protects against a lot of risks.
