Subject: [TMG] Display Sort Date?

Is there a way to display the sort date for a tag when there is
no "regular" date entered?
I have many birth and death tags that I've entered a sort date for so
that the narrative reads correctly, but do not have actual known dates
to enter.
Also, when running reports, I get sentences that say "he/she was born."
Can I remove that by just bracketing the entire tag sentence?
