*** TMG Utility 5 Version 5.4 Build 4 is now available. ***

TMG Utility 5 (U5) is a free companion program for TMG Version 5. Among other
things, it makes bulk edits to TMG datasets. This is a new version that provides
some new features and fixes.

Note for New Users of TMG
-------------------------
You do not need U5 to use TMG effectively. After you are comfortable with TMG
you should consider using U5 to help you take advantage of some of TMG's more
powerful features.

Note for All Users!
-------------------
I can not stress enough that U5 should be used on a **COPY** of your project.
Only after reviewing the changes made by U5 should you move forward and replace
your main project with the copy. U5 is a power tool, and like an electric saw,
it can do a lot of work--or damage--fast! The "Log Only" setting is also a
useful tool. Use it to preview the result of any bulk editing operation without
actually changing anything.

Changes:

- Added Change Place Style feature which allows setting
place styles based on the contents of a place

- Added Exhibit Description to the list of fields in the
Find and Replace feature

- Added the "set to Sdx" operator to the Change Name Parts
feature

- Improved error detection code in the Set Sort Dates feature
